About

My name is Ian. I live in beautiful St. Joseph, Michigan, USA. Bookstacks is my personal volunteer project. I’ve been providing free eBooks to the online community since 2002.

Feel free to share these files. You can even sell them, if you think you can make a profit. No permission is necessary. Any PDF I put up here is in the public domain. (Note that this does not include books subject to the Bahá’í Terms of Use.)

I encourage anyone who wants to leave feedback on these books to comment on the blog entries. (It doesn’t have to be positive, if it isn’t.)

I hope that you find this a good resource, and a pleasant island in the chaos of cyberspace.

  1. Hi Ian,

Wanted to stop by and thank you for the kind comments on my poetry. I am always so grateful for people who take the time to read through my little corner of the blogosphere and especially for those who read further than just the top piece (which, depending on how the project has been going may not always be any good lol). Your blog is an awesome idea. As a piano player/teacher, public domain music gives me endless options – but it is so underutilized! Many don’t even know it exists. Great work!

    • Thank you! That’s great to hear. The comments, of course, were honest. I don’t connect with poetry very often. I should, because I write it sometimes, but I’m always amazed to find work that goes beyond what I expect from it. I look forward to reading more of your work.

    • Thank you, Shaheen. I wish I could have expressed my reaction to the poem you just posted, but thought that rather than not do it justice, I would just click like and hope that you knew that it was sincere. :-) Hope you’re well.
